Onboard Guidance and Navigation
AUTONAV
AutoNav Mark 4 is an onboard guidance and navigation software suite available from Blue Sun Enterprises, based on the award-winning software developed by JPL for Deep Impact.
The current commercially available version is AutoNav Mark 4, developed under NASA SBIR funding and internal Blue Sun research and development funding. AutoNav Mark 4 is available to qualified projects at published licensing rates. It is intended to be operated by VML 3 sequence elements available from Blue Sun.
The AutoNav package includes source code for a flight software component coded in C. The software suites accepts as inputs both old-style data files as used on Deep Impact, and newer database entries which are read from an onboard SQLite database.
In addition, missions may request access to full documentation that defines requirements and design. Review access is also available to an exhaustive set of automated unit tests allows the code to be checked for consistency after adaptation to a new environment.
Tools for configuring AutoNav Mark 4 are available as additional products.
